Every year\, we put on our best Christmas duds or worst Christmas sweaters and get together for a relaxing and fun time of holiday merriment and camaraderie!\n\nCome join us at 6:30 PM\, Thursday evening\, December 18th\, 2025\, at the Collin County GOP Headquarters for this year’s Christmas party with the Collin County Republican Men’s Club. We’ll enjoy some festive fun along with quality food and premium beverages\, so feel free to bring your own holiday treats to share. On top of that\, we’ll host three VERY special guests. Michelle Myers\, Miss United States 2025 and former Director of Digital Media for the US Department of Homeland Security\, will talk to us on “The 24-Hour-a-Day Battle between Homeland Security and the Fake News Media from the Front Lines”. We’ll also have a “Mystery Entertainer\,” plus we’ll get a visit from The Big Man himself\, Santa Claus! We hope you’ll join us for this special holiday event!

Before that\, Dr. Matkin was president of the Central Campus of San Jacinto College in Pasadena\, Texas; vice chancellor and chief information officer for the Virginia Community College System; and chief administrative officer for the Illinois Century Network.\n\nDr. Matkin holds Associate of Arts\, Bachelor of Arts\, Master of Science\, and Master of Business Administration degrees. He earned his Doctor of Education degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
